Well, I bought a laptop from ebay auction months ago, for less than $70, it’s a duo core, compaq also known as HP nc6400, it was listed as it is broken missing power adapter, no battery, no hard drive, but it did turn on and goes into bios but has problem displaying, but I bid for it anyways and won. So it’s been sitting for a while til I got the adapter and and hard drive total cost $20. I’ve been trying to get it work, with ubuntu, winxp, windows vista and windows 7, but no luck, sometime success install but freezed, sometime it won’t boot at all or stuck somewhere during installation. I thought the video card is the problem or motherboard, but I tried one last time with a different older operating system windows 98se, and this time I got different error message, it said something about the RAM memory, so I took one stick of RAM out and install win98se look like it work, and so I installed windows 7 and it work also, whoo hooo!!!!!!!! the art of trial and error 🙂

When I first saw this email, I thought it was real, very realistic email article I even went on to their website and read, and then search on youtube there isn’t anything about kube x-15 crap, then I google search on google for kube x-15, there isn’t anything either, not even on wikipedia, then I started to feel dumb LOL I’ve been fooled by TigerDirect.com just like any products purchased from TigerDirect LOL. Damn I feel so dumb now and thought it was real, a portable nuclear reactor generator will generate power for 50 years for the whole neigborhood, I’ve should have known too good to be true. TigerDirect Sucks!!! LOL

Neflix streaming movies so far so good on my laptop connect via HDMI to LCD TV

Well just yesterday I got the netflix movies streaming, and it’s been working well so far, no major problem so far. I use my dedicated movies laptop which have an HDMI port connect to HDMI LCD TV for awesome high resolution, it’s been working great! streaming via WIFI, I’m not sure if it’s HD quality but it does look crisp clear like HD on all of the movies. No lagging, do distortion, it uses Silverlight similar to flash, when movie play, I noticed my laptop task manager showing the CPU and RAM working harder up to 50% which I think is still ok. My oldest daughter 1st grade can use it no problem, she select the children sections and watch any movies from there. One thing I need to point out is, there got to be an area where we can select or block X-Rated movies or movies that have nudity and a lot of foul language cussing so that our youngster children can’t access it, unless people don’t care 🙂 well I do! 🙂

Yeah, I was doing my tax, and noticed that I received a 1099-G form for tax refunds prior to last year, 2010, and I might have to pay tax on that refund check! I’m all what the F, yes, it is possible if you receive a refund prior year, the Federal Government might sent you a 1099-G form which is the amount of refund you got for prior to last year and it’s possible that you will have to pay tax for that again, only if you itemized deductions under schedule A of 1040. So you pay tax, and you overpaid tax, so government give you back, then base on that amount you have to pay tax again LOL.

Not!!!!!!! LOL, well they got the winning # announced and waiting for the winning to shows up. Well I’m not even gonna check mine 🙂 But – I did win something today, kind of, I received like a dozen rebates combination of checks and prepaid credit cards, ranging from $20 to $55, not bad huh! rebates really work, just need to be patient and do proper follow up, except for that one company Xigmatek, never buy anything from them, they’re crooks taking your hard earning money and run away, Xigmatek very bad business doesn’t care about their customer and you’re taking risk on their products, get it from somewhere else. Anyhow – Good luck whoever the lotter winner is, the # are: The winning numbers for the largest lottery jackpot in world history — a Mega Millions prize that hit $640 million — were 46, 23, 38, 4, 2; mega ball was 23, lottery officials said late Friday. I did it! all this time I’ve been wondering if I should toss my cable TV and get netflix since I already have super fast internet. Well – today I did just that, although I haven’t cancel basic cable TV yet, but I went ahead and took advantage of the $15 ebay ebucks if I give netflix a try, which I did, I signed up 1 month free trial if I decided to keep it, the charge will be $7.99. If don’t want to continue then simply cancel, and I still get the $15 ebay ebucks I can use to buy stuff on ebay which I bought stuff on ebay anyways :). I gave netflix a try – The process was simple, easier than I thought it would be, easier than signing up for a free email from yahoo or gmail. – The process was simply login name password, billing information, I use paypal so it’s uper fast process. The account was activated immediately and I watch it immediately streaming through silverlight similar to flash plugin, it’s not bad at all, it cannot beat Bluray or HD, but it’s enough to say worth the $7.99 a month, you can browse and queue the movies play it anytime anywhere where there is internet. Good thing I have a lot of laptop sitting around which I turn into media player and it work out great! thumbs up for Netflix streaming movies shows … I don’t think we can share the account, only 1 stream per account sign in, so I guess if you play in your house and decide to give to your friends house they wouldn’t be able to play, and another thing, I don’t hacked or cracked account will work well either, because while watching it, your stream can get cut off and that will upset you even more or embarassing yourself using a hacked cracked account, so don’t do it, $7.99 isn’t much a month of entertainment.

This domain was originally purchased for my church in Vietnam, it was an old church that used to attend almost everyday, daily mass. The location is Vietnam, Ap Tan Huong, Xa Tan Thoi, Huyen Go Cong Tay, Tinh Tien Giang, but now I think it’s Phu Dong huyen disctrict or something, no longer the country I used to live grown til 11 years old I think. I bought the domain to add pictures and activities for the church, but apparently it doesn’t work out due to time limitation and resources in Vietnam side due to limitation on the internet, but I think it’s better and I think I can have it up and running again. http://www.giaoxurachcau.com

It’s Friday and the last Friday for catholic vegetarian period

Start off breakfast with cheerios, then drink water whole day, lunch with seafood hot pot and rice, and drink water again. Dinner will probably be with steamed shrimps cocktail and other steamed seafood with fish sauce 🙂 It is vegetarian :). Although I don’t attend Sunday mass all the time, but I live by god’s rule :). You know I saw people goes to church but still does bad things, but don’t get me wrong, many people goes to church and does good things, don’t take this as a reason for not going to church 🙂 heheheh.
