This is what I’ve been telling people. Only old people win the lottery, old mean around this woman’s age :), I don’t recall any young people like 18 19 20s wins the lottery, so don’t even waste money buying it, use that money to donate to charity or put it in piggy bank or savings or life insurance or something, you will not win the lottery if you’re a young person ehhehehehe, well yeah I could be wrong, there was one young person won a lottery long time ago, but it wasn’t $336 million, it was a lot less like $1 million, it’s still a lot of money. The chances of winning a state lotter is low, the chance of winning a powerball lottery is even lower, just like saying, there are more accident that could happen in your batch room that in a space shuttle … what? does that make sense, Oh well. Anyhow, congratulation this woman! I’m sure she has a lot of family members in need of money and I’m sure she will be wise about spending it, imagine that $336 million was won by a drug attic or alcolholic or serial killer or child molester … I wonder if I can ask this woman for a thousand dollar for me to invest in another i7 computer for Folding@home donations heheheh probably not. http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/03/06/10592060-336-million-rhode-island-woman-81-wins-powerball
Rhode Island lottery officials said White’s haul is the sixth largest among all lotteries in the United States. Her chances of hitting the PowerBall were 1 in 175 million.
White chose to accept the lump sum payment of $210 million, rather than the 30 payments paid out over 29 years. She will pay $52.5 million in federal taxes and more than $14 million in state taxes.
