I just remember an event that make me feel so stupid :). Everyone hates to admit that they’re stupid right? – No, ok then. Well there was this one time, I was looking for an iphone 3g 4g, then I saw a very cheap one posted on craigslist, the price was cheap, but not too cheap to say it as fake, it has phone# of the person and so on. – So I contacted the seller and ask for the condition, he said it’s brand new and guy seems to be honest on the phone, the way he talk seems to be straight forward, then he asked how I want to do this – meet somewhere or come to his house, I told him let’s meet at mcdonald, so I drove for 45 minutes to that mcdonald and gave him a call, and he answered and saids he’ll be right out there, so I waited 10mins nothing, so I called again and this time no answer, so I grew skeptical – Then I saw more people pulling in to this mcdonald, almost all of them didn’t get out of there car and just sit, a few came to the front door of mcdonald, looking around – Then I grew more skeptical and at this point I know I’m being prank trick by cruel fake seller on craigslist.com. Those people are there on the parking lot or at mcdonald front door I’m sure no doubt they all came here for the same reason waiting to see the iphone to buy. Some of them left, and so I left as I well, never in my life feel so stupid, trust people too much. So the point I’m trying to make is, be careful with craigslist, not just craigslist but all advertisement classifieds, if asking to meet somewhere to do transaction – be sure that the seller shows up, how do we make sure? you can’t 🙂 just stay away from craigslist if I were you, the seller can give fake house# to go to or waiting to rob you or take your life or rape you 🙂 be aware, be wary, the craigslist killer. So stay away. You can get stuff from ebay, it’s cheap and more secure, just do some research – if you’re willing to meet for some transaction why not just go to the store and buy, saving a few bucks is not worth it. You can split payments now a day through your bank credit card or the store without interest charge for 6mos or so.

Today while working, and my Lync (office communicator) pops up instant message from huy ****, at first I’m thinking of the huy that I used to work with Milpitas distribution spares part for semiconductors equipment 10 years ago, but I could be wrong, so I kept on chatting and at last he said that he is indeed the person I used to work with 10 years ago, now back to working for same company as I am today. He is now a customer engineer, a very good position for travel and nice title and must have nice salary too, compare to me working remotely from home but I doubt my salary is any good, but I thanks god for giving me a job and still be able to work from home remotely, I ask for nothing more. Well, appears huy been doing fine, this guy 10 years ago used to work with me and he’s a gambler, a party dude, and fun talk, but now seems he’s done with those stuff and became a new man. He’s working to support his family and kids education, he’s now in malta new york where ever that is. We began talking about the old days and the people we used to work with what they’re doing and so on. It’s good to know some of us are still doing well after the down turn of the economy.

Many people now a day have their own domain name using their name, most of those people are blogger or the one have lots of interest being online and explore in variety of ways being productive online instead of playing game facebook myspace youtube google+. Well, I got a about a dozen rebates prepaid credit cards, all through buy technology items, problem with rebate credit cards as I mentioned earlier blog post are it’s has a  certain amount of value $ amount, so have to find that dollar amount items to buy, but if you’re lucky some merchant will accept multiple payment types such as multiple debit credit card. For me, this morning I saw a bunch more rebates with the dollar amount cost of the items matches what I have, so I use it to buy to buy 🙂 it work out great, I just burned at least 4 credit debit cards now, and a few checks already deposited. This doesn’t work for everybody, you need to have patient, and a system to follow and track, create a check list for yourself. A check list for buying rebate items, so that you don’t double rebate which will result declined all your rebate. A check list to follow up on all rebate over 4 weeks old ensure they received it. A check list of the rebate credit cards that will expire in 6mos other wise you will get charge a whopping $3 to $6 a mos, if you can’t use them online, go buy gas with it 🙂 or make donate the whole amount to some trusted non profit 🙂

Wow it’s only 8PM now and the insects or whatever critters in my back yard next to the pond or reservoir, chirping or singing whatever they’re doing, pretty loud, I wonder why they chirp all night long consistently, don’t they get tired? I guess not. I remember last summer there was this one insect so loud, that I went research online and found out it’s so loud that its got it’s own ear mop LOL, yeah it’s true, summer insect though, it’s the loudest of them all. Some insects chirp to communicate, some chirps to get a date or trying to mate :). I know cricket chirp, and at least one of them is in my basement, I’m not sure if I can find any this year in my basement, it’s a  finished basement and I spray insect pest protect every year or 6 months just to ensure kept all the bugs out so it won’t bite my daughters.

Well as many of you know, just earlier today or yesterday, Seagate announced a break through in storage capacity, a whopping 6TB hard drive will be available in the next few years. However, do you really need such large hard drive? Yes and No. Yes, if you run a storage server, such movies and sharing files, like cloud computing cluster server then yes. No, if you’re just doing research and email online, in fact storing data on your hard drive computer is not safe, hacker gets in and you’re expose to the internet all your information published public, and if the computer hard drive crashed, there goes all your research and data information. I have a laptop that have 10GB hard drive and working fine for me, I depend and rely on media storage rather than hard drive, not even HDD. Anyhow a while back IBM also announced unlimited space storage through laser technology I don’t know how that work, but IBM is one of the world computer and storage manufacturer doing continuous research and developments.

Awesome perfect spring time weather in the lower 70s, this Thursday it will hit 80s WOW! and it’s not even summer yet. Just beautiful weather today, a little breeze, not too bright, warm 70s, enjoying my ice scream for the first time since winter hahahah. You know ice scream has a lot of sugar, if you feel tire and boring and lost energy, just have ice scream, I prefer ice scream cone 🙂

I’m glad that there are a few companies that offer mail in rebate fast process and they sends checks, such as ZOTAC, not only their products is top good as other products by other manufacturer, but they also offer fast rebate process and it’s a check where I can deposit and use to buy any way I want and down to the last penny, not like other companies offer rebate, take a long time, sometime claimed lost, and by prepaid credit card only good for 6mos then after that they charge $3 a month eating all the credit’s left. Furthermore rebate prepaid credit card is bad because you can’t buy much with it, let it’s $10 and you need to find something that’s $10 or less than that, if you’re lucky then some merchant allow multiple credit cards.
