I lost my full time position back in April 2011, after returning from Vietnam trip, 1 month trip, whether or not the trip was the root cause, doesn’t matter much, I had fun :), but a month in the hot heat was enough :). Wife and children heading back there for a visit with many family members here in US in August this year 2012. Anyhow back to the main topic, I’m a consultant or so call contractor, month to month contract, it’s pretty hard not to wonder when I’m gonna have to find another position or contract with another company for work, I’m a type of person that would rather stick around where I’m comfortable working with people I’ve work with for years than working in an enviroment totally new and have to do that new learning experience thing, although it might be good which I don’t mind, but I prefer where I’m currently comfortable with. Well, will see if my contract will get renew this month or next month I mean March 2012, if not, new company job search here I come, although I had many back up plan, but it’s the same effort as looking for an external contract or consultant job. However, if worst case, I’ll be internet entrepreneur soon, I will work hard at it. Many of my friends, some are doctors, business owners, but some also trying to find jobs, so I wont’ feel bad if among others ๐
Crunchy apple purchased at bottom dollar just like trai mang back in Vietnam
Not too often we’re lucky enough to get a nice bag of apples that taste delicious like the tropical fruit in Vietnam below, the taste of this apple reminded me of that fruit in Vietnam, I’m not sure what it call something like “Trai Mang”, yummy crunchy. I bought that bag of apples at bottom dollar walking distance from my house. Bottom dollars pretty cool, they had cool marketing strategy, and most of their products are very cheap, not not all, it’s everywhere in the USA now.

Ummm yummy, what can I eat for vegetarian today? it’s Ash wednesday, my wife went to church early in the morning I couldn’t even wake up and start warm up the car for her, well at least someone in the family went to church frequently especially required mass ASh Wednesday ๐
Got some traffic visitors from around the world
I installed a plugins that would track users or visitors to this site couple days ago, and it’s pretty cool, it tells me where users coming from, I like the map style, it shows a dot and basically functionality is all I need, but in the back end with admin access, I can view their IP and which site or link they visit, for instant right now if you’re reading this post, it record that you visit this link and reading my post, just basic historical visit, nothing to be alarm with :), however there are chances that you’re using a proxy which my plugins will be able to tell your exactly location, you could by proxying from China but your exact location is USA, so it’s base on the IP yur computer map to, and some users might be using anonymous browsing so that’s like proxy, so cannot detect your real ip. Proxy is also a way for people who’s in countries that blocked facebook or other social media site to connect override the firewall, so they can access those sites.
Too many bots on my site
Well happy Ash Wednesday people, well if you’re a catholic and I believe Christian celebrate also, mass is required today and also eat vegetarian also required today. Well this morning I check my site, which is this one here, lopanchoi.com, yeah I know you like the domain hehehhe, and there are 4 bots on my site, what the hec is it doing? well I’m sure there are four different bots from different web crawling company such as – google, msn, yahoo, bing, and so on – I believe what they’re doing is crawling the website contents and puts it on its search engine, such as google. So that when someone search for something and it tied to my website, the search result will appear and user click on it. DO I have private information on my site? yes and no, yes but very mininal such as when I mention an events where a person’s name I don’t mention their exact name, there are also area where it’s private where you cannot read, it is secured or hidden cannot be read in public, only can be view by me and my ip, it’s extra security, so even if you know my admin password here, you still cannot read it unless it’s the ip# I’m capped at the server end ๐
Ash Wednesday is tomorrow February 22nd 2012 for all catholic
Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday for all catholic, if you’re religious like me ๐ Basically eat vegetarian food tomorrow, no sex, no cussing, hahahahah!!!! ok maybe that’s a bit too much, two things important: vegetarian and must go to church mass. I know for sure I can eat vegetarian tomorrow, going to church will be difficult due to the two kids, they’re big trouble maker, they will destroy the church ahahhaah! ok maybe not, but they are trouble maker, Dahlia and Nyla, wife Huyen will try to attend the church mass, at least one person from the family can attend. Huyen has been working and studying pretty hard lately trying to finish up her education degree. I believe in god although not being in church every Sunday consistently but I do pray and speak to god nightly, and every trouble I come across I believe god is there looking after me, and even if the trouble will cause me to probably loose my life, I’m ok with god’s decision, well it’s kind of award of talking about death ๐ I have wife and kids to support, cannot died ๐ I still want to have my own warehouse to experiment and test out all my toys and inventions, just like that kid in the kid’s movie Meet the Robinson. I still want to see my daughters grow up and see we explored planet Mars at least, and hope life does exist up there and still there, I want to know if human kind will ever be able to leave earth and gear toward space exploration ๐

I think this software “HD Tune Pro” hard drive testing utilities is a must for all computer geeks or IT people whom work on computer hard drive laptop desktop PC … it’s an awesome software to use to check computer hard drive health, it does a variety of test to determine the hard drive health, will it predict on when your hard drive will died? well find out for yourself ย :), it would be nice to have a notification from your harddrive saying that I’m dying, you have 1 day to back up my files :), this is natural harddrive dying, not cause by carelessness such as dropping the hard drive or laptop desktop computer on purpose ๐ย
Gas price soar again compare to February 1st 2012 this year
The nation average gas price is $3.57 cent, highest is in California above $4 per gallon already for regular unleaded and it’s not even Summer driving season yet. Lucky whoever got the hybrid or electric car, you’re not only saving money but help the environment greatly. I would like a hybrid car also, knowing the fact that it’s not as fast as a gasoline car but has many benefit. 100% EV might be better, you can go to most mall and hook it up to charge for free ๐ cool huh, instead of plug it into your own garage electricity. Most parking now have priority for EV car to hook up, and it’s like handicap where they can park close to the building entrance, awesome huh! ๐ ย Getting back to the gas price rising problem, well we all know it flucuate quite a bit like stock, but it’s a little bit different, it doesn’t come down much but keep on raising, if you remember back years ago, let say in the 1990s gas price was like $1.25 nation average, look at it now, so even it flucuated but it kept on going up like gold :). Hooray! forever have hybrid vehicle.
