Just sold two more software from ebay part of an experiment gearing toward a new position internet entrepreneur. I’m doing an experiment by buying $0 after rebate items such as software that are useful and big seller high demand, including video cards and other items. My goal is to have a process where 1st step get the product after rebate $0, 2nd step submit the product for rebate, 3rd step sell it on ebay or craigslist or where-ever, 4th step track rebate ensure to get the cash 🙂 Loose nothing but valuable 🙂 ehheheheh. Just a hint, if do massive rebate, need to photo copy everything to keep record and follow up, recommend using a software such as Rebate!Rebate! it’s simple to use.
I love listening to techno rave music that have high bass melody but hate certain vocal especially the profanity one that’s cussing 🙂 ehehheh. TechnoForever is one of my favorite online radio I listen to daily when I’m working, or whatever that I’m doing, it help me move!! yeah!!! baby!!! love it. I have my own radio station it’s 24hours with 6 different stations also have a techno rave vietnamese station but it’s all in Vietnamese 🙂 songs. Study and researchers shown that when a person listen to loud music and able to accomplish task are people that very easy to work with and get along with, they’re not picky, I guess that’s good! hohohohoh. What I really want to do is also to make my own music, I have the tools but don’t have the time, I do have time, but it’s been allocated to more important things 🙂 when kids grown up, I want my own warehouse or a large space to experiment, the things that I’ve putting in the back burner 🙂
This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over-analyzing; life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once: seize them. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people. We are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring passion with them. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Life is short. Live your dream, and share your passion.
Well, let see I’ve testing a new way to make a few bucks per day, and look like it’s working. The process is quite simple. Buy items that have big rebate, and big seller on ebay. Let say I buy a video card that cost $40, but rebate is $20, so if sold a that video card on ebay for $40, that $40 will will paid off the cost, then I pocket $20. However ebay and and paypal charge some money, first the insertion fee for buy it now $0.50, then shipping about $5, then selling fee about $3, then paypal take another fee $2, so look like $5 + $3 + $2 = $10 fee total minus the $20 pocket, you really pocket $10. Now if we look at this on tax side, and let say you’re a legitimate business owner and you buy and sell items daily and it doesn’t matter on ebay or craigslist wherever, you can use program like quick book to calculate tax. For instant. I you spent $40, sold for $40, you profit $0, so you don’t have to pay tax, tax is base on profit made, so if you buy $40, and sold for $30, you loose $10, and you can claim $10 loss profit, now if you sold $45 now you make $5 profit, this $5 dollar will taxable need to be reported to the IRS.
The bright side on this is, you’re working from home, in front of your computer, being your own boss and set the amount of money you’re willing to make. You’re not driving anywhere or go anywhere, shipping you can use usps for small packages, UPS if you have heavy items, most these companies send you free shipping supplies and if you ship large volume they will even send a consultant to your home and give you rates.
The bad side on this is, let say you get rebate $20, and it’s by prepaid credit card, for some reason they no longer send you a check, however some place still do, they give you option where you want check or prepaid card. So if you get a prepaid credit card, probably first thing to do is check to see if you can get a check instead by calling the # in the back of the card or email them, then you can deposit the check in the bank. Now let say you only have the prepaid card, there many things you can do with it.
- Buy groceries or stuff with it where credit card are accepted however it’s only up the amount of the prepaid card, some retailers or merchant service allow multiple credit card, then you’re in luck.
- Buy other rebate items so you can make more money
- If you have existing paypal account, create a new paypal account and use your prepaid card to pay yourself such as donation or small service where fee is low.
- Buy gas
- Sell it on craigslist ebay etc ..
- Exchange it with your family members or friends for cash where your friends family can use it to buy gas instead of pay cash and so on …
In conclusion, you’re not going to get rich, but if you look at it this way, let say you pocket $10 a day, and keep it consistent for the whole year, $10 x 365 = $3,650 cash pocket that you’re making, with little time per day for 1 item, now let take 1 item and ask yourself can you do it for 10 items or 100 items? if you can say yes, that’s $3,650 x 10 or x 100, you do the math 🙂
A few things to keep in mind when doing rebate is ensure you don’t double rebate, look at the offer #, keep track of your rebate, give it 10weeks before checking status.
I was excited when Katie-Thao asked me about if I’m from Cu Lao Tan Thoi – Truong Tieu Hoc Tan Thoi, she said she know me because we’re in the same class. I haven’t update my facebook for a long time, long story short, I don’t like the fact that facebook focus more it’s income to make money using people’s post to pull in traffic and make money, so therefore I left facebook and probably would never come back unless someone question post link to my name then I would anwser in there, I was planning to activate a plug in to do automatic post when I post here, it would auto post to facebook. Anyways back to Katie Thao, yes she is indeed someone I should know back in the old Vietnamese country side elementary school years, since she point out all the people including teachers and locations I would be during the time.
It was a very exciting memorable time back then, I believe she’s the only person I know from school back then, we started chatting and share those moments back then, including the time she fled Vietnam in 86 and 87 she also remember me being Malaysia small island of Pulao BiDong, Sungei Besi and the Philippines.
The school that I went to from Kindergarten to 4th grade was “Truong Tieu Hoc – Tan Thoi”, it was small and next to Catholic Church “Nha Tho Rach Cau”. I started Kindergarten at the age of 5 I think, at the time I remember my mom had to go with me learning the alphabet and numbers. I didn’t really pay attention to the teachers maybe because I have no idea what she was saying, I copy the person next to me whatever he/she written down on a small chalk board. At the time each student have a small chalk board size of a modern day clipboard, teacher would write something on the big chalk board then we either copy it or answer it on our small chalk board, we mostly sing, and memorize favorite poetry. That’s Kindergarten. Continue reading “School in Vietnam Tan Thoi – Tieu Hoc”
